For Humans We Love Gowns & Dresses, each dress is made just for you and the specific timelines are listed per design in their dropdown menu - generally take 3-6 months.

For Shoes! Veerah and Bhava Shoes are in stock and ready to ship from thier U.S. headquarters unless noted as a preorder, on the page or drop down of that size / color.

For Handmade Jewelry by Ciara and by Tamsin Rasor: Their pieces are generally made to order just for you! The time is listed per design, and then shipped out from NYC (Tamsin) or from London (Ciara.)

For Hyde Nor Hare Candles: These ship out right away from Conneticut by Jenny herself.

Humans We Love shipping is COMPLIMENTARY (free!) within the US for our vintage jewelry and gowns. For gowns, expedited production is sometmes available, the added costs are calculated per style and listed on each design's page.

For brand partners (shoes, handmade jewlery, candles) each has their own shipping costs listed on each product page.

Yes! Everything can ship worldwide except the Hyde nor Hare candles.

For Partner Brand's Shoes and Handmade Ethical Jewelry, the international shipping cost is listed in a drop down menu on the product page.

For HWL Gowns, International shipping is $150 for priority international and $200 for global express (1-5 days) + 1-3 days to prepare and ship your order from when it's finished.

For HWL Vintage Jewelry: International shipping is $50 including full insurance.

Duties & Taxes: International friends, please note you are responsible for duties and taxes for your country - all products are shipping from the US except Ciara's jewelry is shipping from London. Use this import and duty calculator to determine your estimated duties and taxes.

Everything here is very special and sometimes one of kind! So all gowns and fine jewelry (vintage fine gems, by Ciara, by Tamsin) automatically ship fully insured at no extra cost.

For Veerah and Bhava Shoes - you can add insurance using Route at checkout if you'd like to be extra safe because shipping insurance is not automatically included. Otherwise once the package is scanned as received by the shipping provider, we aren't responsible for any lost or stolen packages.

While Klarna is ONLY legally available for ready to ship items (vintage jewelry, shoes, etc.) you'll see the Klarna option at checkout if it's available for your items.

How to use Klarna Payment Plans: Simply add the item(s) to your cart, select Klarna at checkout and fill out the information, receive the item(s), and then pay in up to 45 days interest-free.

Right now Klarna doesn't offer payment plans for anything not immediately ready to ship. But I'm working on our own payment plan to offer! Made to order and made to measure designs are final sale - this includes all wedding dresses and handmade ethical jewelry.

Of course if your item arrives damaged we will fix it! Please email me within 48 hours of receiving your item with photos and we'll figure it out.

Plan for Local Alterations after receiving your dress

When you are planning your dress timeline, most wedding dresses need to be altered to fit you perfectly, so if you are ordering yours "made to order" in a standard sizing, include 3-4 months after you receive your dress, before your wedding date, to do local alterations for a perfect fit.

Made to Measure: Alterations

While a made to measure dress will be made to your specific measurements - if you are not measured locally in person in NYC, it may be good to plan for a buffer of time to get final alterations local to you if needed in case the measurements sent in aren't exact, or in case your measurements have changed since you sent them in. Ask your local tailor how long it might take to do final minor alterations- and add that in for your buffer time.

Yes I take returns and exchanges for our Vintage and Antique Jewelry!

• Step 1: Contact me within 3 calendar days of receiving your jewelry - forward your receipt and let me know you'd like to return it. (If you send it back without emailing me first, there is the chance it could get lost and you will be responsible for this sadly!)
• Step 2: Please carefully package it back in the original packaging and ship it back within 7 days of delivery (I'll send you the return address), you are responsible for it until it reaches me so please insure it if you are worried about it getting lost or stolen.
• Step 3: Your ring and packaging will be inspected and you will be refunded within 5-10 business days for the full amount minus original shipping cost if international. US shipping and insurance to you is covered by us. If the velvet box is damaged, a $30 replacement cost will be deducted.
• Please note, antique and vintage pieces come with imperfections consistent with their age; only major imperfections are noted on the product pages.
• Also any vintage jewelry resized just for you is final sale - so if you are not 100% sure about your purchase, I recommend purchasing it and getting it resized locally.

• Please contact me within 14 calendar days of receiving your ring to request an exchange or store credit. (If you send it back without emailing me first, there is the chance it could get lost and you will be responsible for this sadly!)
• Exchange items must be shipped back within 7 days of the request.
• You are responsible for your return shipping and that it gets back safely so if you are worried it may get lost or stolen, you may want to insure it.
• Your new ring will ship out within 2-3 business days of your return arriving safely and inspected.
