Received as a birthstone gift for a young lady in the late 1960's. Ring was too small to wear, so it was never worn.

One of a Kind: We only have one of this sweet vintage ring.
Since moving to NYC in 2010, I've worn one piece of vintage or handmade jewelry at a time without taking it off - something signifying a lesson I'm currently finding in my life. Each piece I would wear until it somehow was taken off my neck, or removed from my finger - unexpectedly. And then on to the next lesson.
Why Vintage: There is something so beautiful about jewelry that was designed and created in a different era, often with artisanal methods we now deem old fashioned and inefficient -- but that's the joy - they took more time, more care, and you can feel and see the artisan's hand in the piece. Also of course the delight in witnessing the design *trends* of each era incarnated into something you carry with you on your body - as if you were then, now. Of course also - vintage is the most sustainable option.
I handpicked each HWL vintage ring because of a message I know it has for one of you -something you're learning right now in your life because you are ready now.
Vintage: Please remember imperfections are natural with vintage preowned rings.
Resizing: Resizing is complimentary but takes an extra 2 weeks! If you need it sooner, I recommend ordering it as the existing size and then have it resized near you - especially good if you are gifting it to someone whose size you don't know yet.
Shipping: Your ring will ship out within 2-3 business days from Brooklyn, NYC fully insured, signature required. Priority shipping in the US is complimentary, International Priority and Global Express shipping are both available to all countries and calculated based on your location at checkout.
Packaging: Your ring comes in a handmade velvet ring box that was made in Canada with love. If you have a preference of color, let me know in the drop down menu and as long as I have one left in that color I will send it to you.
